If you mean globalization in terms of moving towards a consolidated world government, then obviously it should be opposed.
If you are talking about globalization meaning the spread of capitalism and free markets to areas in the world where they don't exist, then it should be supported.

Sigh -- I *really* think it's much simpler.
These protestors are really just leftists using "globalization" as a banner. You all are already having MUCH MORE ERUDITE discussions that these guys would, LOL! Take a look at the link I posted above to the kinds of things these protestors said last year this time: that the war was racist, that private property was bad, etc. etc.
At the time, we mocked them for how so many of their supposed issues had anything to do with their supposed anti-globalization theme. They're just leftists looking for an excuse to trash my city and tie up traffic.
I don't think the protestors agree on anything except there were a LOT of pro-PLO and anti-Israel signs last year.
