WASHINGTON (AP) Anti-globalization demonstrators, relatively subdued since the Sept. 11 terror attacks, are preparing a clamorous return to the streets this month when the World Bank and International Monetary Fund meet.
Protest organizers said Tuesday they expect thousands to turn out on the weekend of Sept. 28 outside the Washington headquarters of the global financial institutions. The demonstrators oppose policies they say harm the environment and people in poor countries.

Do you like ever do anything constructive for grassroots activism in the real world? Or do you view your role as to wring your hands and give expert advice about matters you know nothing about in cyberspace, and thus feel that you are "in charge" somehow? I mean, seriously, *why* do you keep proffering advice when we try different polite ways of telling you that you are totally uninformed?
Sigh, I've given up on polite here. Here's reality: you are *so* obviously totally uninformed for those of us who have seen this before, and so totally oblivious to my (heretofore) polite efforts to educate you, that perhaps you should just know: I view most of your posts as laughable. So, you know, keep pompously telling us what *you* think we should do with your time. We'll give it all the weight that your depth of knowledge in this area warrants.

I am concerned about what the media is going to do with this. Other posters have said there is no need for concern. I am glad to hear this.
Some on this thread seemed very pro-globalization using parse words. I did not, nor do I know if these people are speaking on behalf of FR.
Who is the 'we' you used in your name calling flame to me; who are you speaking for? Are you going to cut and paste your post of immaturity to all who dare to ask questions or show concern?
Even if I still show concern after I am told I shouldn't, why would you be bothered? A, know it all, I am better than you atitude; who downgrades others loses any respect and it downgrades your cause.
Your flame, and assuming things about me, speaks a thousand words.

Yup. We got it. You mention that in your previous 10 posts. You don't really respond to our points about why that's not so in this case. You just keep repeating it.
So yup, post #201 is a bit of a flame. Your hand-wringing is getting R-E-P-E-T-I-V-E.

(Hmm, I guess "repetive" is a new word I've coined which I declare to meet "annoyingly repetitive.")

Of course you don't. Knowing this would require actually reading and digesting the responsive posts raised, for the first 100 times politely, to your concerns. I've no doubt you remain eternally suspicious. Here's a little hint for future reference: try to read other people's posts in the threads too. Here's another little hint, which I don't claim to be polite at all: a lot of people are going to read the words I've italicized above, and, having read the posts in this thread, laugh at you. Maybe it's not the nicest thing to say, but it's not the meanest either: you really do risk embarassing yourself if you don't start reading the responses to your posts too. I sincerely think you'd have a happier life in this thread if you had been doing that.

Oh, DC Chapter may be protesting Al Gore in mid-September too.

Feel free to go over to that post too and publicly wring your hands and worry that if we speak in public on this issue we will be misinterpreted by the liberal media. I mean, really, if we can't protest against anti-capitalists, surely we would be *horribly* misinterpreted if we protested against a Democrat.
I think you should continue to tell us what to do and give us all your advice on this issue too.

Hey, sorry if I was testy to the point of bitter in some of my 200-series posts here. Overly annoyed at the repetitive nature of the debate. Pleased to see you support the Al Gore Freep at least.
