your consciousness morphs/flickers...reality if your not hallucinating is constant!

You would know.

The absolute best I've seen is on US 23 near Jenkins Kentucky. It is a rainbow, fresh cut and mostly unweathered.

.....EVOLUTION IS PSEUDOSCIENCE FOR MORONS .....

How about giving us a few sentences on Christian evolution....that is how the Christian church has evolved from a few desciples gathered in an upper room to thousands of sects and denominations with widely varying dogma.

How about...

"Jesus Christ/Truth(God/creation/savior)...

same yesterday--today---forever!"

You need the chap/verse/context?

I use to be for legalization merely to get the crime and the big bucks out of the drug trade. However, I finally decided I did not want to pay taxes to support all those drug addicted maligners who won't or can't work because they have to do drugs. I don't want to pay for raising their children or for agencies to come in and be sure the children are fed or are not murdered in a drug induced state by their loving mother and father.

I finally decided that since we can't depend on people to be smart enough to know that drugs are slave masters that will rule the lives of those opening the gate from then on, how would it help to make the slave master's product cheaper so more people could use their deep intellect to CHOOSE to willfully live their lives looking for the next fix?

This society needs productive healthy people - not dopeheads draining society.

Good News For The Day

‘The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone.’ (Luke 20:17)

"The most familiar, and the best-loved images of Jesus, are those that picture to us, his gentle, compassionate spirit. "Whoever comes to me, I will in no wise cast out"; "Come to me, all you who are weary"; "Let the little children come to me."

"But there are other images of Jesus in the Gospels, which show another aspect of his personality. They emphasize the steel in him. Sometimes Jesus was awesome; formidable."

"In the parable, Jesus presents himself as the landlord's Son; the rejected stone, that eventually becomes the most important stone in the superstructure of the kingdom of God. Jesus plainly thought that those who opposed him were in collision with God. He was warning nation's leaders: "It is unwise and unsafe to be against me." Tough talk from Jesus! He was signaling what was taken up by Peter at Pentecost, where, full of resurrection joy and authority, he preached saying: "This Jesus, you put him to death. . . . but God raised him from the dead. God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ" (Acts 2:31-36).

"In the parable of the wicked tenants, Jesus teaches that those who discard him, will not thereby have gotten rid of him. Jesus was not, and is not now, a passing phenomenon. So truly does Jesus represent reality; so deeply entrenched in the ultimate truth of existence, is his life and teaching, that He, and not his opponents, will prevail. If the universe is a moral place (and Christ himself is the most convincing evidence that it is), then his prediction that he would triumph, even over those who killed him, must come true. Therefore let us treasure the august aspects of his personality, as much as his gentle features, for they signal a world order in which 'goodness', as Jesus taught it, will... reign---unopposed. The stone that was rejected, will become the capstone."

Good News For The Day

‘The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone.’ (Luke 20:17)

"There is a certain inevitability about Christ. He is the fulfillment of Herod's worst nightmare. Herod killed John the Baptist, and when Christ followed, the ruler thought John had risen from the dead. In a sense, it was true. Jesus' first appeals to the corrupt king were made through the Baptist."

"Christ is uncompromising; inexorable. He is unpreventable, unstoppable, unavoidable. An outline of the creation's future is discernible in the personality of Jesus. The new world order will bear the stamp of his character."

"The invincibility of Jesus is good news. It confirms our deepest hope-that the highest values known to humankind, will overcome, and reign. It is good strengthening to believe that... Spirit---is higher than matter. No one really wants to inhabit a world where material values rule. The incarnation of such values are exampled by Adolf Hitler, or Idi Amin."

"It is good news to know that we are loved by a 'tough love'; a love that is not willing to give up, or let go, and hence, a love that suffers long. In short we are loved by a love that will triumph. "Love never fails."

Funny thing is, you can read the sermon on the mount and then read Mein Kampf and Origin of the Species, and it just isn't that hard to choose which view of what man amounts to you'd rather go with.

As a software engineer who has successfully applied the Genetic Algorithm for many projects, this was a most informative article.

Thanks for sharing this article with us today, as it has gotten me thinking about some hardware possibilities that may be used by the company.

It is a shame that some people are so blinded by their faith, that they can not see something right in front of their noses. This adaptive hardware concept has many interesting possibilities.

But alas, that is only human nature.

A shame, and one of the less fortunate effects of faith in things unseen. God shouldn't tell people to fool themselves or others.

Right. Its the designator for the SA-7 "Grail" SAM missile; I frequently ran into them (or mention of them rather) in my work in the Navy. One of my hobbies is archery.

As *Univ is my witness

Wash your mouth out - that's no way to show respect for the laws of nature, in combination with the glorious random events, that gave you life. One must tag it-which-contains-us-all with the <B> tags, and the <FONT SIZE="5"> tags, for the properly awe-inspiring effect.

Thank Univ* for the fact that you are here. Or don't - Univ* is very relaxed about such things... ;)

I've been toying with new looks for it, randomly amusing myself with HTML font effects. I rather like the rainbow effect - Univ*.

Or there's the "Big Bang" look - Univ*.

Put it together, and add a little flash - well, "flash" if you're using NS/Mozilla ;)

Univ*

Anyway, indulge yourself - Univ* is cool with however you'd like it to be...

Now lets be fair. Our opposition is allowed to conduct the same experiment using the exact same hardware components in the article at the top of this thread.

They may assemble the hardware, pray to God, and (with full knowledge and faith) expect the components to organize into a working oscillator or radio.

Believe me, if their experiment works, I will be the very first to applaud their outstanding achievement.

re-post from 1 Sep? Still funny!

Amazing that the evos are so desperate that they take this nonsense seriously!

This experiment illustrates the reality that random variation can open the door to solutions that would not be forseen in a normal dedicated design process.

It also illustrates the potential for iterative random variation/preferential selection to sometimes produce "solutions" that do MORE than what was minimally required.

Amazing! You are taking this nonsense seriously!

There are a couple of problems with this as a proof of evolution though, I am surprised the evos here so thoughtlessly plunge on regardless. For one thing this system was intelligently designed by human beings using a program and algorithms written by human beings.

It is also quite interesting that to prove evolution, evolutionists, who vehemently call intelligent design utter nonsense, are using algorithms and intelligently designed programs to try to prove their theory! Don't they see that by doing this they are in effect conceding to the ID community that evolution is wrong and Intelligent Design is indeed the only way that life could have arisen and changed from bacteria to humans?????

This adaptive hardware concept has many interesting possibilities.

It certainly does, I need to borrow that program. I have this little Hot Wheels Ferrari which I am hoping will be able to evolve ...
