What little global warming we have had is only since 1960, and would need to go five times as far as it has, just to get us back to where we were in 1820-75 approx, a warm period... I think cows were farting a lot back then.

It would have to go some 40 times as far as it has, to get us back to where we were in the AD 750-1250 era, when it was rumored that Irish and English monks responded with a lot of hot air to Viking raids on their coasts.

But for a prolonged period from (say 5000 to some 2100 BC, the climate was as if we had gone some EIGHTY to 100 times the move seen since 1960: Vermont had a climate then like Atlanta does now, and the Iceman wandered the High Alps without obstruction from ice.

God, and the variable temperatures of the areas of space that the Earth is traversing, account for these things, and human activity is laughable in comparison.
