There will be no elective office for Secretary of State once the fellow who stepped in temporarily is gone. The Department of State WILL HAVE NO ELECTIVE OFFICE. Katherine Harris using common sense and logic deduced that since the position she held was NO LONGER AN ELECTIVE OFFICE, the piece of paper was not applicable but she did sign it within weeks anyway. She did not do it with malicious intent or intent to deceive.

Look what Clinton did but it didn't rise to the level, blah, blah, blah. There's lots of case law out there KH's attorneys can use. THIS IS JUST MORE SCAPEGOATING OF KH.

If there was no elective office, then the paperwork she didn't sign by a date certain was moot. That can be argued convincingly when they view this in its entirety and there were no damages to persons running for that elective office because IT IS NOT GOING TO EXIST...

i just sent the following to sht:

The Herald Tribune disappointed me yet again this weekend. One would think if a newspaper were to swing a certain way it would at least follow the ideals held by the majority in the area. If you want to raise your subscription revenue you can stop calling houses while we are si tting down with our family to spend quality time and start reporting reality instead of false analysis. When those in the future want to know what the people of southwest Florida felt they would read an inaccurate account of history through the Herald Tribune.

I was so angered by your "recommendation" for the Republican primary for Congress, District 13 that I avoided your paper's website all weekend. I am not even going to get into how you glowingly reported on the wonderful liberal candidates like Ms. Schneider who has only recently registered as a voter in the area, McKenzie who appears to be a Jesse Jackson lackey, and Candice who just doesn't have the depth, but trashed the Republicans. Regardless, I started Monday off with checking to see what the letters to the editor consisted of this weekend. I am once again dismayed at the representation you have chosen for your paper. Many of my friends send me copies of letters they send you, but oddly enough these conservative viewpoints never make it to print.

History for this region will not properly be told if our local papers tell it. The last thing I would expect is for the newspaper to actually take on the conservative slant that most of the readers in this area have, but if they would choose to be a little less obvious in their liberal bias it would make it harder for me to prove my point. However, instead I open my browser to the letters and find anti-Christian arguments, and people disagreeing with our war on terrorism. Though these are the only arguments I found in the paper, this is not what the American people think in general.

On Tuesday Katherine Harris is going to win this primary, because she is the better candidate. In November Katherine will win the general election, as will Jeb. Sometime in the near future we will change the leadership in Iraq to ensure the security of Americans and the rest of the world. In 2004 George W Bush will be reelected, because he is one of the greatest presidents of our generation. Future historians will be misled as to how a culture rampant with liberalism managed to vote conservative so often. Unfortunately no one will publish the papers that record the lack of correlation between reality and the mainstream media.
