Saber,
I have had 3 experiences in my life that, had I made a different decision, would have cost me my life.

Won't go into great detail, but small outlines.

First I chose not to hitchhike to a location with a buddy, and he went ahead.  The car he was riding in was in an accident, killing all occupants.

Second, I had reservations on an airplane to Arizona from New York.  While in line, I decided to go to Arizona by train.  The plane crashed on takeoff, killing all on board.

Last, I was in Viet Nam, and volunteered for a boondock trip, instead of staying in the basecamp.  That night, while I was out in the boondocks, a mortar round came in (single mortar, not an attack) and landed on my bed.

All three times, the decision was preceded by a feeling in the pit of my stomach.  Not necessarily a dream.  Do I believe, oh yes.

And I will not discount your dreams.  The problem I have with all of this (the Tims of the world) is that they all leave themselves a way out.  This Tim Snodgrass web site predicts 9.0 earthquakes in the U.S. unless certain (unspecified) concessions are made by Pres. Bush toward Israel.  This way, if a 9.0 hits he can say "I told you so", and if not, he can say "Bush made the right decisions".

Some of the best business decisions I made after saying "let me sleep on it, and I'll let you know tomorrow".  Always, always, I'd wake up  the next morning with a crystal clarity as to what I needed to do.

I have no idea why I'm saying these things.  LOL.

Remember, keep dreaming and follow your heart.

What a sweet post.  That is the area where your spirit resides and that nudge from the Holy Spirit is often how He speaks although He may put thoughts in your mind as well.  When the spirit of man agrees with the Holy Spirit, you have a majority which equals Truth.

Joh 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

A group of Americans were walking on a patrol in Viet Nam.  One man heard a voice say, "Jump!"  He jumped and landed on his belly some feet away.  A mine went off and he was safe but others were killed.  He knew that the Voice had been the voice of the L~rd, so he asked, "Why didn't you tell them, too?"  The L~rd told him, "I did tell them but they aren't used to hearing my voice so they didn't obey."

I knew a man from Chicago years ago who told horrendous tales from Viet Nam and after many accounts he would say, "I shoulda been dead," sometimes near tears.  One of the grievances G~d has with man is that people are not thankful.  That man was thankful.

Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

And keep obeying the feeling in the pit of your stomach.

Cool, as long as we're clear that I still make no prophetic claim for my dream. I'm not gonna second-guess God, but I hop it isn't.

In fact, I'm generally blase about dreams, as I explained here.
