Sorry. I couldn't find the post where you stated which brand of Christianity you believe. What I was referring to was the post just ahead of that one, #110, where I was debunking some "prophets" and saying on the other hand the L~rd was giving dreams and visions to everyone, including nonbelievers. I didn't want people to think you were an unbeliever after reading #110. (I forgot to bump you to that one.)

Sorry. I couldn't find the post where you stated which brand of Christianity you believe.

I don't recall if I said. I'm not much into the branding. My view of what constitutes a Christian doesn't revolve around doctrine as much as the essential truths of the Gospels: that Jesus Christ is the Lord made Flesh, that He died for our sins, rose again on the third day, later ascending to Heaven where he sits at the right hand of the Father, awaiting the moment of His return.

He said (paraphrasing): "He who confesses me to others, I will confess to my Father, and he who denies me, I will say, 'I never knew you.'"

I'm not saying doctrine isn't important, but it's not essential to salvation, if you ask me.

That's one reason I don't find Evolution to be as controversial as others do... Whether or not one of my forefathers was a monkey is insignificant, what matters is the fact that Jesus' mother was a virgin.
