And I thought there wasn't anything more about Sept. 11, that could make me cry...
I pray for G-d to somehow comfort all those who lost a loved one. Those of us who watched in horror will never forget them.
Sept. 11 is going to be a sad, sad day.
I believe out of it will be a renewed determination to into Iraq to keep this type of horror from happening again.
Of all five senses, none save smell evokes a more visceral, emotional response than hearing, I don't agree at all. I've lost all sense of smell in the past several years.
I can still see, touch, hear, and taste.
I know that smell and taste are linked, but I have not lost taste. I feel blessed, indeed. It's a mixed blessing; because while I don't smell bad odors, neither do I smell good things like lily-of-the-valley, or lilacs.
My prayer during the past year has been for those individuals who saw, touched, heard, touched, or tasted those things that NONE of us should ever experience.
May the Lord grant them healing.
It's stories like this that rile the passion for vengeance. I thought about leaving the Border Patrol and re-enlisting in the Marine Corps. However, it looks like I may get my chance for some payback right here on the border.
