Everyday, I talk to Americans returning from Mexico (resort areas) and they almost all say the same thing.

"I'm so happy to be back in America" or "Thank God I'm American".

9 out 10 say they will never go back to Mexico.

I actually wouldn't advise that now ---check out the crime rates first. They just had 17 murders in one week in Ciudad Juarez, one of the border cities, one of the big NAFTA beneficiaries. Two maquila workers slain also btw. Why would anyone want this to become our culture??

La ola de violencia sigue incontenible y apoderada de Ciudad Juárez. Además de otros hechos delictivos, a lo largo del día de ayer fue ejecutado a balazos un mecánico, un yonquero fue víctima de un secuestro exprés, un joyero fue asaltado, dos mujeres sufrieron intentos de violación y en una más sí se consumó el abuso sexual.
