This is the subtext of what you are saying when you expect Israel to kow-tow to America. Israel is an ally, not a vassal. Israel will take most directions from America but not all.

I simply added that if this is so, that his contempt in Lebanon was accurate and illustrated by the way we allowed 280 Americans get blown up by Muslims in Lebanon. Israeli barracks did not get dynamited.
