NGO's should not be funded by the government. If their ideas can't float with private financing from dedicated believers then their idea's are lousy and deserve no more airing than their opposition.
If their ideas can't float with private financing ... The Conservancy has reported assets of well over 2 billion, I know Audubon and WWF are huge as well.
