I can think of at least three reasons why the anti-Drug War stance is: it fights against an ever-encroaching federal government, it reenforces the notions of individual sovereignty and individual responsibility, it takes power from the federal government and gives it back to the states . . .Let's also not forget it would save the American taxpayer billions and billions of dollars.
