Fear not. Things are not always as they appear. The protestors and anti-war folk did not vote for Bush and will never vote for Bush. His constituents--the people who will re-elect him--insist that he follow through with his solemn pledge to protect our national security, which certainly means closing out matters with Iraq. My belief? All the delay has been to complete all in-coutry intelligence and deployments to assure a quick capitulation with minimal allied losses (we will have plenty of allies). Nothing is more important than protecting our soldiers, and great care is being taken to assure this. I promise you this is the reason for delay.

Your words are encouraging, and I thank you. I agree we must be careful to protect as many soldiers' lives as possible while winning. I'm no military expert, but I appreciate and support our fighting fellow Americans. I really am trying to trust that Bush knows what he is doing - the stakes are as high as they've ever been in my lifetime.
