Here is the time table: Sept. 12 - Bush in his speech to the U.N. puts the issue into serious play.

Sept. and October will be a referendum on the war issue with the Bush administration displaying more and more evidence and more and more politicians will support the idea as the election draws near.

Nov. 5. - elections

All of November - Congressional discussions and "allies" in Europe start to back the idea with the mindset of getting in on the action so they don't miss out on the Spoils of the war.

Dec 1, 2002 Congress approves the action by a substantial margin.

Dec 1 - Jan 10 - Pre war build-up. This has actually already started, but will be discussed in the media like it is news.

Jan 11, 2002. Some liberal journalist makes the dire prediction that this time will be different and the U.S. will need 50,000 body bags for an unwinable war lasting several years. This prediction is given hours and hours of repeated media play by a major networks.

Jan 12, 2003 at 9:00 P.M. Baghdad time The air attack commences. It has to be at night so CNN can televise the air show.

Jan 28, 2003. THe ground assault starts out of Turkey.

March 1, 2003 - The liberal journalist is shown to be a knownothing idiot once again. This fact is never mentioned by anybody in the media and is forgotton by all except for a few FReepers who keep tabs on this sort of thing.

You've got the most accurate scenario so far. Congress approved military action in October, but otherwise, things look pretty accurate. January 15th is a full moon. My 3rd prediction (you can tell I'm not a prophet!) is January 1, 12:01 AM Bagdad time. September 8th and October 8th were my previous failures.

President Bush did not opt for the sudden, surpise attack I thought he might take when he announced his speech for September 12th. He apparently is patient enough to get additional Congressional approval (I don't think he needed it) and try the UN route. He knows, as does everyone with two working brain cells, that Iraqi inspections will fail again.

May God bless and direct our President in the wisest course of action.
