In conclusion, "homosexual acts" do not equal "admitted being exclusively homosexual" by any stretch of the imagination.

But what difference does that make in the case of John Wayne Gacy? You can spin it any way you want to -- bisexual, not exclusively homosexual, etc. -- but his 33 murder-rapes of only males show clearly that he was a homosexual serial killer.

The difference is that a comparison has been made between people who identify as homosexual and people who commit homosexual acts.

For the purposes of this discussion, Gacy was a same-sex serial killer. He was NOT a "homosexual serial-killer" if that would place him in the same group as people who identify themselves as "homosexual"; he did NOT identify himself as homosexual.

1-4% of the male population identifies themselves as homosexual -- that does not include the Gacys, the Roy Cohns, the Liberaces. How many of them are there? What criteria do we use to look at the person's behavior and decide that person is or was homosexual? A single homosexual act? 5 acts? 10? A length of time? Homosexual activists took Kinsey's data and decided that being "more or less homosexual for at least three years between ages 16 and 55" defines a "homosexual" -- do we use their 10%? A single act would place it at 37%, while being exclusively homosexual during that time would place it at 4%. Shere Hite placed the number of single-act committers up in the 40% range. A specific act -- Hite says 12% of us have had a penis or penis-sized object in our rectums for sexual purposes. Do we say 12%?

Gace raped and murdered 33 males, some while married to his second wife. He molested who knows how many while married to his first wife. How many men have had 33 homosexual experiences while married. We can't even begin to guess at the number for a statistic of "homosexual but you wouldn't know it to look at them".

Sexuality is not cut-n-dried and without some sort of criteria and firm definitions, any comparison of numbers is bound to be invalid.
