This is a very odd article in that I don't think it can be disproved, meaning it is likely that we are indeed "just a simulation".

My desk is being held in virtual memory. For example, I'll look for something. It's swapped out. As a I continue to look, it gets swapped in and I finally see it.

(I think the moon is swapped out when I'm not looking too.)
