Actually, Italian Grits, called Polenta is great with salmon right off the grill or with smoke salmon in the morning for breakfast.
That bear picture with the salmon in her mouth is one my wife's favorites. She has a joke that if this Episcopalian trip doesn't work out for her, she wants to come back as one of these protected bears in Alaska to catch feed on fresh salmon. I would opt to be one of those cute little protected Sea Otters living around Monterey Bay. All the abalone and fresh fish that you can eat, and all the humans think that you are so cute.
