You're right. Liberals have more books published (by far), but conservative books are bought and read. We're often in the NYT's top ten. Conservative radio wins, our TV news shows have high ratings, and the Internet sings a conservative tune... In a more rational world someone would notice we're a viable market and publish a few newspapers with a conservative voice. Even a token conservative voice...
"Actually, conservative authors often appear on the best seller list."

I live in the "Peple's republic of Park Slope", here in Brooklyn, NY. When I bought Sean's book on Monday Afternoon, my regular Barnes & Noble clerk (who ususally smiles and says, "How are you") saw what I was buying, and practically threw my change at me, and then stuffed the book into a bag without saying a word.
It really must irritate the heck out of these people to have to sell books like "Slander" and "Let Freedom Ring".
Hey, I've ben called a "Warmonger" around here for wearing a USNA shirt! I smile, give the aging hippie a thumbs up, and a haerty "HOO-YAH"!

i just hope he knocks Michael Moore's "stupid white men" off the list, so then we will be closing out the summer with conservative dominance on the nyt BESTSELLER LIST > To all the liberals in publishing: "scoreboard!"
