Since I have been assisting newly arrived Serbian refugees to the USA, I have seen so many Baptisms of their children and, in many cases, parents as well.....The community here is establishing a Church with well over 200 members....some former communists or simply, just un-churched people....All the best to you in your work to help settle Serbian refugees. In our area, the Serbian community is more well-established, and is assisting many new immigrants (many of whom are Bosnian and Kraijina Serbs) as well.
We had several families arrive in September. One family arrives on Friday. We had two families cancel out...one due to an illness and one because of some sort of paper work error. They will come on later...perhaps after the first of the year.
I think we will have only 14 families more by the end of 2002....but more are sure to come next year as well. Much family re-unification...mostly Serbs from camps in Serbia or Republic of Serbska
