Well - at least they preserved it in some fashion. My military school was closed down because of the anti-war movements impact on funding for various military training for the young folks.
I learned this from the MO. FReepers when I asked them about Kemper Military in Boonville Mo.
They were required to upgrade the facilities in order to qualify as a prison!
