This story gives Higher Education a new meaning eh?

You and I both know (I think) that the fact is, that has been true since the 60's. When it turns into a dangerous situation it has to be defused, not ignited. And from what I recollect of your previous postings, I think you know that to be true as well.

God speed.

I'm sure it has been going on for quite awhile. The change I have noticed is the schools now put more responsibility on the police. The school system used to handle the discipline, unless it was serious, and then they still had a hand in it. But now they seem to brush it all off on the police.

In the public schools we now have cops in school all the time. I talked to a cop who works one of our high schools. Last year he alone had over 90 arrests at one high school. Since school has opened this year I hear he has a couple arrests already.

What the answer is I don't know. I don't agree with using or selling drugs but I don't agree with confiscating a dorm either. I think the school ought to take care of business.

To close my fillibuster out, after I went to bed last night I turned on the local news. Seems an MTV crew went to the University of Akron to film one of their shows. Has something to do with what people will do for money. Anyway, the news showed a college girl eating cake off of a guys bare rump. What they didn't show was what I heard on the radio this morning. Apparently they talked a guy into eating some type of food that was shaped into a large penis.

I know there is alot of crap going on at colleges but I think this stuff should not be tolerated. No wonder college kids cant get jobs, everybody thinks they're a bunch of ignorant hedonists.

Naturally the news media was celebrating this activity.
