Ebuck was talking about the exact location in the flurry of freep mails, we got from him. I will see if I saved it.

It will be somewhere in the Medford Area.

This is the official first thread re F.I.R.E..This is a freeper creation from raw ideal to cash to reality.

Please go to this thread to see what happens when Freepers across the board say insanity from a left wing group is enough! (F.I.R.E. Fighting Irresponsible Radical Environmentalism )

Hopefully Paul can help you. I have MSN and have no problems with it. I guess that my privacy settings are different.

Please post your great pictures of the burnt trees that you posted on the new Arizona Thread on (F.I.R.E. Fighting Irresponsible Radical Environmentalism ).

That way people can see that there is a common sense alternative. Thanks!

"If Carrie Okie was in charge or served as the chief consultant, most of this would have been done by the private sector, creating jobs and having a product at the end of each day that has a demand for it."

Yep. The private sector is the only way to go. They think it's some kind of sin for the government to make money off trees on federal land. Of course, they think that if the government gives them away it's a sin. Then again they think LOGGING AT ALL is a sin.....

I need more coffee.

Why on Earth would it cost tax $$$ to clear trees?

Only in America thanks to the enviral whackos and the left winge rats who hate free enterprise would it cost money.

These sobs are worse than Union Bosses in creating and maintaining pay checks for the card carrying envirals in the federal and state government.

Nice background. In my experience, most greenies need visual aids in order to comprehend such 'new' concepts.

I wonder how much clearing could be done for 300 million bucks?

Jack Blackwell, regional forester for the Pacific Southwest, said recent estimates show it will cost $105 million in fiscal 2004 to thin more than 100,000 acres around vulnerable communities.

I could hardly believe my ears yesterday when a neighbor andI stood at the mailboxes chatting. She said that awful as the fires have been, they could have been worse, that this year the fire season hasn't been too bad so far.

She gets all her news from the TV, and watches TV news every day.

Is this what people are getting in the news (I don't watch tv)? Unbeleivable. I told her the latest figures on burnt acreage in Oregon and she was just shocked.
