This fire has now exceeded 500,000 acres.

Stick with this thread about an exciting new F.I.R.E. announcement.

F.I.R.E. is an exciting way that Freepers will taking the PR two by four and using it to wake up Oregonians and others re the Irresponsible Radical Environmentalism which is the major contributor to the fires in Oregon since mid July!

Stay tuned for an upcoming F.I.R.E. announcement and how you can help to convey this hard hitting message to the Green Jihadists and wake up those asleep re the reason why Oregon is still burning.

This is the best that this map has looked since before the fire started.

This NOAA shot is the best picture of the Biscuit Fire since it started in July re lack of hot fires still burning or new ones. This was taken yesterday evening at 7:28 pm. Again we had the smoke from this fire from the Kali/Oregon border to the wine country yesterday afternoon.

The Tiller and Apple fire seem to be headed into being a Biscuit 2 if not contained.

The fire has cost $108.8 million to fight so far. It covers nearly all of the Kalmiopsis Wilderness, much of the Siskiyou National Forest, and dips into Northern California. Altogether, about $300 million has been spent to fight wildfires in Oregon this summer.

I wonder how much clearing could be done for 300 million bucks?

A whole lot of clearing could have been done for 300 hundred million of our tax $'s.

If Carrie Okie was in charge or served as the chief consultant, most of this would have been done by the private sector, creating jobs and having a product at the end of each day that has a demand for it. It would cost us minimal taxes.

Now all of that timber has been destroyed and nothing of value will come from it.

This is so typical of the insanity pushed by the Watermelon Green Jihadists.

Thanks, but they couldn't pay me enough to take a job with the USFS.

I would rather do it working with local property owners, county commissioners, insurers, technical professionals, contract lawyers, and industry. We need to take the forest out of the hands of the Forest Service.

It is time to announce the official kickoff of F.I.R.E. or Fighting Irresponsible Radical Environmentalism.

Ebuck, who is off working now (the curse of being a conservative), came up with the great idea of buying a Bill Board off of I5 to show our disgust re the fires in Oregon and to lay the blame at the cloven feet of those responsible, the Watermelon Green Jihadists and their insane forest projects.

A wonderful Freeper, who wants to remain as the Wonderful but Unknown Freeper donated the money to pay for the art work and the rental for the first month. (Blackie has the exact location of this Bill Board).

Then Ebuck and Paul Atreides got together and came up with a great graphic for the bill board:

We are asking for donations to keep this bill board up until at least past the November Elections.

Send your checks to:

FIRE

PO BOX 3360

ALBANY, OR 97321-0713

Until Ebuck, aka, Erick Buckner, can get the account set up under FIRE, please make your checks out to Erick Buckner.

Water Dragon will soon (hopefully) be posting how to send payments via your computer to charge your credit card.

Blackie and Water Dragon will be coordinating the Oregon team with others to be announced.

This is an exciting and incredible way for us to carry the battle to stop the Insanity of the Radical Envirals.

F.I.R.E. Fighting Irresponsible Radical Environmentalism

Please contribute and help us make this F.I.R.E. successful!

I would appreciate it if you would put this on your ping list for a couple of days. This is prime example of what happens when a bunch Freepers get tired of liberalism and its dangers. This deals with the dangers of this Summer's Fires in Oregon thanks to the agendas of the Watermelon Jihadists.

Hi GD,

Because the privacy settings on my firewall reject the image from msn, I can't see the image of the billboard. Can we find another way to host that image (amd perhaps back off on the resolution for the bandwidth challenged)?
