The family did not apply for any of the financial assistance provided to victims' survivors and did not obtain a death certificate, the newspaper said.

WOW, if anyone needed help it would have been this family of a streetside vendor. They sure sound sincere.

``If God brought him this far back to me, he will come back the rest of the way. It will take time,'' Anna Sims said. ``I am just grateful he is alive. God worked a miracle.''

And once he is feeling better, PAX TV will be more than happy to showcase this incredible story!! It truly is a miracle.

Immediately following the collapse of the twin towers, many families went searching for loved ones in hospitals around the city. Now, one who was lost is found.

(Mom, you want to spread some of God's love by pinging the protestant list).

amnesia and schizophrenia

So he doesn't know who he is and he has multiple personalities? If he has schizophrenia, then how do they know that one of the personalities isn't his real self and the others are alternates.

Family members said they believed Sims was "selling things" near the twin towers when the attacks occurred and, when they did not hear from him for a few weeks, they reported him missing to city police on October 7.

I suspect this man comes under the euphemism of "vagrant," and that he may have been schizophrenic for a while, and months of hospitalization have aggravated the condition.

Not that it matters, I guess, since he was thought to be dead and is alive.
