Yeah, I know what you mean. I've got a Mt Feist and she is very hiper and just about broke my ankle this weekend getting under my feet while I was playing and chasing the kids in the backyard. I wanted to kill her for a few minutes.

i am self-aware enough to know that i could not possibly do it without doing, at the very least, emotional harm to my kids...

That's exactly where we are with our oldest. He's going into the 8th grade. We're fortunate to live in a very conservative county with a decent public school system.

But, the way things are going, we may be doing it differently with the youngest. He's 2 1/2. My wife teaches in a homeschool academy. We may be going that route with him (or perhaps private school). We'll have to see.

i think you are absolutely right to not only consider the personalities of the parents who would be doing the homeschooling, but also, the personalities of the children themselves. Some would do better with it than others. Good for you.
