You're being simplistic in the extreme. The KLA are a bunch of bloodthirsty thugs (though not, by any means, Islamic fundies). But many Serbs are too. And just because the KLA are bad doesn't give the Serbs the right to come in and massacre Kosovar civilians. Milosevic committed war crimes, and is justly being tried for them. I would also hope that the Kosovar criminals are also brought to justice.

I know its natural to try to view these situations in black and white, but the truth is that both sides were wrong.

One can continue to believe Humwarrior agit-prop or come to grips with the post-Clinton hard evidence coming to light. Milosevic is guilty of trying to protect his nation and people from barbarians and that's about it. The genesis of the most recent problems in Kosovo was Milosevic's rescinding of the autonomy of the region in 89. He had no options; every other ethnic group in Kosovo was being brutalized by the albanians.

European forensics teams walked out of Kosovo in disgust after finding a few corpses which appeared to have died natural deaths in places where the clintonistas had claimed hundreds of billions of genocide victims would be found.
