Just wait until boomers start voting themselves Federal entitlements.

They'll make today's seasoned citizens look downright charitable

Oh, BS! I'm so tired of this crapola. Who the heck do you think is working right now to support all the old coots? Baby boomers are at the bottom of the ponzi scheme and there will be absolutely nothing left when they retire. The so-called greatest generation ought to be called the greediest generation. Ramirez had a great political cartoon that showed an old geezer getting a prescription and turning to a baby saying, "Don't just sit there, pay the man." All the goodies that the grasping seniors are demanding are a tax on current and future generations. Then they have the nerve to accuse their children and grandchildren of being selfish and not saving enough. What hypocrisy!

As a baby boomer myself, I felt freer to dump on them.

I'm willing to bet the majority will help themselves to the Federal trough. Look what happens to any politician who even hints at slowing down the largesse.

I can't imagine that's going to get any better.

This is what happens when the Tenth Amendment is trampled and domestic Federal programs not delegated by the Constitution are put in place.

You and I are paying for it now, and our successors will pay even more, IMO. I'm not saying there is no way out of the mess, but this country has become a federal democracy to a large extent and it's going to be very difficult to restore it to a constitutional republic.

I'll fight the good fight with you.
