So honest beliefs and principles are meaningless? The whole game is to get elected....
No party can bring honesty and principles or anything else to government unless they get elected and have the power to effect changes.
...even if you have no integrity?
Integrity is for living our lives day in and day out; it is for governing at all levels; it is for business, for academia, international relations, etc. But it is not for politics and never was for politics and never will be for politics. Politics, like poetry, makes its own rules and parameters and that is an accepted fact the world over. The graveyard of politics is filled with aspiring politicians with integrity.
Sorry, but I'd rather lose.
It appears that you already have, but don't try to take the rest of us with you.

You were doing o.k. until your last comment. Do you know me? If not, keep your personal attacks to yourself. Thank you and have a good day.

This is the cry of every fool who blindly supports a politician who lack integrity and is betraying him.

You are attempting a rational conversation with advocates of a third party. They are disgusted with the Rs and Ds and with to bring our country more in line with the limey's who suffer from multiple party paralysis and can barely function. The lefties have taken advantage of this fact and pushed their agenda with remarkable success.
I prefer our current system where we have multiple opinions within a party and come to consensus. It seems to get things done while at the same time preventing sudden turns and/or paralysis.
It works for me.
