We can send the jobs the US will lose anyway down to Mexico which spends 70% of its foreign trade dollars on U.S. goods & services, or we can let them go to Asia which spends merely 10% on U.S. goods and services. Unfortunately for Mexico, around 1 in 5 factories there have already relocated to Asia in the past year alone, as China's now a member of the WTO. Hopefully economic pressures to be competitive will push the Chinese govt. to open up more to public input, just as Mexico impressively became much more democratic largely thanks to NAFTA.

Dream on about China. We can not continue to destroy family living wage jobs in this country and expect that people can afford to buy the slave produced shoddy goods they produce even if we could have tham for free.

Remember when the Walmart lies were exposed about American produced products. They have sure dropped that line. But wait, there's more. Walk around and check where their goods are manufactured now. Nearly all Chink imports.
