That Alaskan sunset is beautiful. When I was there, I didn't see anything like that. It was cloudy and overcast everyday......and freezing cold, even though it was July! I admire the tough, rugged people who live up there. Beautiful state, nice to visit....don't think I could live there though, not this desert rat.
;-) Morning there - agree about Alaska and the guys that live there. Brrr it does get nippy. We were up there in January and I swear I've never been so cold. -10 degrees is just not right.
The upside was it was so cold that whatever gives us colds, etc in the lower 48 couldn't survive so none of our party had any health type problems.
