Of course, with the nutballs in the legislature and with Grey Davis in a rather desperate mode, things might unravel a bit for the longer term. Some weird anti business and anti productivity stuff is seemingly gaining traction. Previously it was all amusing cultural welfare noise with no real significance. Going forward, it may be less amusing.
