What of the reverse: society downgrading the value and history of Northern cultures?
When was the last time you heard of Norway being included in multicultural curriculum? Or Russia? Or England?

I've subbed in the elementary schools within the past couple of years, and the social studies textbooks outright lie about America's history. They claim that America has always been a multicultural "nation", that there has never been a dominant culture, and that America is about diversity. Meanwhile, you look under the multiculturalist article, and you see pictures of children from around the world of whom are supposed to represent what America has been throughout its history. You see a picture of an individual decked out in Mexican garb. You see a picture of an Indian girl wearing Hindu clothing. You see other pictures with middle eastern, African and Asian ethnic clothing. However, there is only one picture of a white child, and he is the one wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt. However, remember, all of these individuals are supposed to have represented America throughout history. If my history serves me correct, immigration was most strictly limited to Europe up until the mid 1960s.
