M Kehoe's point re booing: Hey, I was first and loudest in booing that guy. Lanny was very charming and gracious and worked the crowd between breaks. But I'm telling you, he defended a guy who lied before a federal criminal grand jury, and he deserves to be booed. Levin's line about how Sean is Hannitzing American and Lanny was martinizing the White House was *hilarious.* For the record, here's more of the girl's perspective too: the Great One is also better looking in public.

Auntie Mame: I don't know who you are or why you're posting something negative in a happy public post about successful DC Chapter activity. I think it reflects very poorly on you. I wouldn't give you the time of day if you behaved like that to me. For shame.

**NEWS FLASH***

Washington Post Fails to Cover Conservative Book-Signing Event that Easily Had More Attendees that the Reparations Rally on the Mall

(Was taking my out-of-town relatives to the mall the day of rally, saw its size. Was at the book signing, saw it's size. It's close, but Sean Hannity's was bigger.)

Dateline Washington:

Yesterday at Border's Books at the Mazza Gallerie in Washington, D.C. was a perfectly normal day. There was nothing unusual afoot. According to several unnamed administration sources, the upstairs section of Borders Books were notably bereft of people. Several civil rights groups agreed. In particular, Barbara Olson's name was not mentioned and 9/11 was not mentioned.

According to several concerned neighborhood groups, Kristinn was not outside Border Books with signs and TrueBlackMan was not meeting and greeting lots of people with charming, unbridled enthusiasm. Tgsltakoma was not being given front-row access to photographs. A line of patient fans did not snake all about the second floor. FreetheHostages did not repeatedly remark about how neat it was to see a line of conservatives in Washington: a line where people actually keep their place and don't try to butt in for once.

Basically, nothing occured, leaving time for a Washington Post metro writer to do an in-depth front page piece about how hard it will be for the Board of Elections to count the write in votes for Democratic Mayor Anthony Williams, thus giving free publicity to Williams and ensuring continuity of one-party rule in our local political structure.
