The irony of this...Mohammed took Christian and Jewish women as concubines. I supposed he did not regard them as "friends." One Coptic Christian bore him a male child, who died at about age one--he may have married this one, I believe I remember her name as a form of "Mary". A Jewish captive woman has been credited with poisoning him.
Upon edit, I meant poisoning Mohammed, not the child. While Mohammed did not die from this poisoning, it is said that it hastened his death.
