LarryLied, I think you've hit the nail on the head this time. Kopper's rollover is all that is needed to get to the bottom of Enron. Kopper gets you Fastow, Fastow gets you Skilling and Skilling gets you Lay. glisan morandunt to roll soon. The jig is up and logic says that there is a financial connection to Myerson who wrote all of those incredible ass-kissing stories about the geniuses at Enron for all those years.
Now, we know that Enron was more than willing to pay for publicity, look at Krugman and Kristol. No reason to think an underpaid NYT reporter would say no to a little offshore baksheesh. Who's gonna know?

I knew but I forgot! Excellent! Wonder if Krugman and Kristol met Myerson at any Enron parties.There was so much money being lavished on everyone and everything. You are correct. Kopper turning rat is the end for all of them. It is over. Coincidences happen but this reporter killing himself (or being killed) within 24 hours of the case cracking wide open is too much of a coincidence.
