He finally found out dar ar islam meant.

Why should he meat with a group of peple who support the death of their fellow americans.

I have never seen Calypso louie denounce the attacks and his is the only muslim leader in the country I can name.

some blame conservative Christians and pro-Israel lobbyists for the reversal.

Maybe they should blame themselves.

I cannot think of a whole of noted Muslims who condemned without qualification the Sept. 11 attacks, the terror bombings in Israel, slavery in the Sudan, or persecution of religious minorities in Egypt or Saudi Arabia.

Muslim leaders who President Bush publicly courted after the Sept. 11 terrorism attacks say he is ignoring them now, and some blame conservative Christians and pro-Israel lobbyists for the reversal

I am sure it has nothing to do with their lack of enthusiasm in condemning islamic terrorism

Why do they always blame the Christians and the Jews?

Bush has cooled toward American Muslims, groups say...

So have a lot of folks...

Maybe American Muslims should ask themselves why.

All muslims who are unhappy, go back to Saudia Arabia, Iraq, Syria or where ever you are from and enjoy the freedoms you so sorely desire.

Yep, blame everyone and everything except your own failure to cleanse your community of terrorist scum.

"There were special interest groups involved immediately after those meetings last fall in trying to dissuade the administration from acting with us," says Salaam al-Marayati, executive director of the Muslim Public Affairs Council in Los Angeles.

It goes much deeper than that, and they are all beginning to realize it now.

Initially they all repeated the empty words, "Islam is a religion of Peace", and Bush gave them more than ample time to reflect and consider that the murder of 2823 Americans was not theoretical and warranted a deeper response than that.

It never came.

Endlessly repeating that the "occupation" blah blah blah... isn't nearly enough. They know it. Bush knows it. The American people know it.

No heartfelt regret was ever expressed because it was never there, it is not there now.
Thus, the true picture became clear for everyone. And the consequences unfold.

They had their opportunity but there was really nothing there to talk about. No cultural, religious or political common ground.

The consequences must unfold, because such a barbarity cannot go unanswered. Ever.

So, the muslims are bellyaching about President Bush not hugging them anymore for their lack of condemnation of their terrorists brothers. I have a question for the muslims in America: What would have happened to Christians living in muslim countries(particularly saudi arabia) if some Christian terrorist blew up muslim holy places in Saudi Arabia, and killing 3000 arabs in the process? Would the Saudi King proclaim the Christian religion a peacefull religion? Would the Saudi King visit a Christian Church?

What do these idiots expect. If a Christian group pulled off 9/11, there would be mass demonstrations of Christians denouncing it. With the phucking Muslims, the denounce it on web sites that no one goes to and still raise money in Mosques to continue to kill innocent Americans.

I don't think its so much bush fed up with Muslims, its this country that is!

I wonder how many voters, if any, Bush alienated by celebrating Rahmadan at the "People's House"?

Bush does not suffer fools and terrorists and traitors forever. He gave them plenty of opportunity to show where they stand. Where those organizations stand is not with this country. Bush's country.

....some blame conservative Christians and pro-Israel lobbyists for the reversal.

Perhaps all those "Bush must die" buttons had something to do with it.

"There's sort of a right wing - whether Christian fundamentalists or pro-Israel groups - that tries to drive wedges between us and decision makers," he says.

As opposed to their left wing that does everything and everything to murder innocent people and otherwise leave an unremovable stain on humanity in the name of their gutter religion perhaps?
