Your rude, arrogant responses to otherwise polite and friendly posts should have alerted the rest of us to the source of your views. You can stop educating us now - we have heard the standard RIAA talking points before. You will also note that there are now twice as many posts as when you first expressed your outrage here, and still, you are the only dissenter to the prevailing view. Ain't we all thieves who jus' don' unnestan da byznys! Happy trolling and please say a big BAH-BYE from us to your employers the dinosaurs.

So, we should scrap our system of laws in favor of appeasing whatever a majority wishes. I think that's called mob rule.

And you calling me rude is a laugh after you stupidly sneered at me and suggested I educate myself on the music business.

I'm hardly trolling. My statements are rooted in sincere belief and the principles of law. I'm not employed by a record company and haven't been for nearly 10 years.

He's not the only dissenter, & it is stealing. I was planning to read the whole thread before responding, but your statement just cries out for an answer. I'm not innocent, I have downloaded music myself. I don't any more. If I want it, I'll buy it. When it's something that's out of print, it's a temptation. The sooner the record companies accept reality & start selling individual songs themselves, the happier we'll all be.

Add one more. And I have no connection to the recording industry.

You're thieves. That you think you are not because there's a lot of you is simply one more example of mob behavior.

There are many people who live honest lives, not because of the force of their internal integrity, but because of fear of stigma. You can tell who these folks are because they will commit crime without qualms when everyone around them starts to. You saw it in the LA riots, when thousands of "law-abiding citizens" walked through broken store fronts and helped themselves to stereos (the shopkeepers had been ripping them off with high prices for years, so it was okay).

And you see it here. You're thieves. Don't try and teach your children not to steal.
