What ever happened to the two front war doctrine?

My view - Give Taiwan nukes, then pull out.

No - I'm not inclined to pull out and leave an ally hanging. The President has said we will do "whatever it takes" to defend Taiwan. The United States has given its word, and this country ought to keep it.

Maybe we ought to put forces in Taiwan - with a warning to the PRC that the first American casualty at the hands of the PLAN will be cause for war.
