I know Ann Coulter grew up in Fairfield County, CT, and I think her parents still live there. But as far as I know, she now lives in NYC and also has a place in Washington DC. So she basically lives in the very same "burg" as Richard Goldstein, editor of The Village Voice, the liberal she was up against tonight.

Richard Goldstein was recently on a C-SPAN panel of gay Marxists discussing how to deal with and battle Conservative gays like Andrew Sullivan and Camille Paglia. Sullivan was there on the panel and at one point, Goldstein suggested killing him. The audience roared with approval.

Goldstein is a bit more radical than just a "liberal".

Thanks for the correction. I just assumed that she maintained dual residency since there was a rumor a couple of years ago that Ann would challenge Chris 'Traitor' Shays' seat in congress.

In many ways, I was more repulsed by Ann's treatment by Goldstein than I was by Carville's predictable rantings.

That being said however, I think this was the highlight of the show:

CARVILLE: Let me read off some other Republicans that oppose war and then you can tell us what's wrong with them. Senator Richard Lugar of Indiana? What's the problem with Senator Lugar?

COULTER: Well, we are a big tent. We don't have these Stalinist control that the Democrats have, prohibiting, for example, popular Pennsylvania Governor Casey from speaking at our convention. We do have a big tent. Yes, I disagree with these people...

Exactly.
