"And if I push right here, it activates my venom sac." Stop it! Yer killin' me! I almost killed myself when I fell out of the chair, howling with laughter after reading your comment to that hideous (but brilliant) picture.

I don't think there are any more rebroadcasts of Crossfire. I wonder if those words will be included in tonight's Crossfire transcript. From the transcription:
CARVILLE: What offends me is that people expect me to hate Muslims because some assholes, some criminals, ran a building (UNINTELLIGIBLE). This is what Franklin Graham said, and you'd agree. He called Islam a very different God, a very evil...
Although I didn't see it, it looks like he realized he had lost control when he said, "ran a building," got mad at himself, and said (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

What would happen if we all put *.*@turner.com ?That won't work. The email system would literally attempt to send a single message to the account *.*@turner.com , which of course doesn't exist, so it'll just bounce back to you. You'll have to find the real names. They're all on the CNN website, though you may have to dig a little. Eason Jordan would be a good one to email; he's the VP of News Operations. But he's in Iraq right now trying to keep the entire network from being thrown out of the country, so he may not respond for a while.

Jimer is right, it was an act. He did it playing to the leftie brats at the university who always give Begala and him a round of applause everytime they go on a Marxist rant. Amusing sidenote: On one of the DUh crowd's Cynthia McKinney threads tonight, someone there actually claimed that Paul Begala was actually "controlled" by the Republicans! Something to do with the fact that the Forehead knows some big-name consultant who worked on the Dubya campaign or somesuch. It was just so bizarre; Begala would clean all the bathrooms on Riker's Island with his tongue before he'd do anything to help a Republican.

It grieves me deeply to know that the sacred soil of the Palmetto State has been defiled by the cloven hoof of this demon.

I always refer to them as James Carnival and Paul By-Golly - perfect together!
To: Kay Ludlow
All of them apply. Thanks to Mr. Carville, the upcoming "DSM-V" will devote a chapter to him.
I'm from PA. Centre County Rules!!!

As a Louisianan, I can't put into words the utter disgust that I feel for Carville, who has been a source of great pain and shame for my beloved state.
Forgive us.

I have always thought that Bubba is/was on cocaine. One would probably not seek oral sex in a hallway in broad daylight without some kind of chemical help!

Looks like the current transcript has been sanitized. (Interesting that CNN decided to remove
'@sshole' but leave in the GD.)
CARVILLE: Let me show you something a great fundamentalist, a person I'm sure you agree with all the time, said, and tell me if you agree with him or not. This is the Reverend Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham. Let's see what he said about Islam. We're going to post it up there.
"We're not attacking Islam, but Islam has attacked us. The God of Islam is not the same God. He is not the son of God of the Christian or Judeo-Christian faith. It is a very different God. I believe it is a very evil and wicked religion." That is a fundamentalist Christian. Do you agree with this fundamentalist Christian?
RIOS: Yes, I do.
CARVILLE: You think Islam is a very wicked and evil religion?
RIOS: I think when it teaches holy jihad...
ABINADER: I think it's pathetic.
(CROSSTALK)
RIOS: James, why does that offend you so much? They killed 3,000 people.
CARVILLE: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) people in these mosques in these countries that are praying, that are working, that are good Americans, that pay taxes here. They're not evil people. They're good people. And for you to suggest that and Franklin Graham to suggest that is just wrong, god damn it, it is wrong.
RIOS: James, you're dripping.
CARVILLE: I'm not dripping.
RIOS: You're drooling.
CARVILLE: I don't think you ought to tell these good people that's what it is. It irritates the hell out of me.
RIOS: Well, I'm sorry to irritate you. The truth is hard to take.
CARVILLE: They're not evil people. There are good Muslims in this country.
RIOS: No, he didn't say that. Of course, he did not say...
CARVILLE: Well, yes, he said it's an evil and wicked religion.
RIOS: The religion that teaches killing the infidels is wicked.
CARVILLE: He didn't say that.
RIOS: He did say that.
ABINADER: Excuse me. Obviously, let me go back to my Christian roots. I went through 16 years of Catholic school, 12 of which I had to take some kind of form of catechism. We read the Old Testament and New Testament. And if you read...
CARLSON: That really was an amazing outburst. If we can just stop and appreciate that for a minute.
(APPLAUSE)

Your comments are very interesting, in that as disgusting as Carville is, I have often thought that he was putting on a show for pay and didn't really believe anything he was saying. Alan Colmbs was on the radio one day and I heard a caller tell Colmbs that he could not possibly be stupid enough to believe what he himself was saying and Carville strikes me the same way. I believe the man is simply for sale and he is not equipped to be a believable conservative, so he spews the liberal line for whoever has the money.

HIS PHONEY WIFE, MARY HAD A BREAK DOWN WHEN SHE MARRIED HIM. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW DICK CHENEY CAN TRUST HER. DOES SHE PUTS A BAG OVER HIS HEAD WHEN THEY GO TO BED. UGLY UGLY.
To: nutmeg
Thanks for the correction. I just assumed that she maintained dual residency since there was a rumor a couple of years ago that Ann would challenge Chris 'Traitor' Shays' seat in congress.
In many ways, I was more repulsed by Ann's treatment by Goldstein than I was by Carville's predictable rantings.
That being said however, I think this was the highlight of the show:
CARVILLE: Let me read off some other Republicans that oppose war and then you can tell us what's wrong with them. Senator Richard Lugar of Indiana? What's the problem with Senator Lugar?
COULTER: Well, we are a big tent. We don't have these Stalinist control that the Democrats have, prohibiting, for example, popular Pennsylvania Governor Casey from speaking at our convention. We do have a big tent. Yes, I disagree with these people...
Exactly.
