[history]
The New York Times is under fire for its coverage of the growing Iraq debate and the paper's decision to print gay union announcements. Is the paper being targeted by the political right or does its coverage reveal a bias against going into Iraq? Are gay unions fit to print on the wedding pages? Conservative author Ann Coulter debates the issues. Next, controversy is brewing over what schools should teach students about September 11. What should be the top priority to teach in the classroom? Different sides square off. Then, Martha Stewart is scheduled to turn over e-mail and cell phone records to congressional investigators today in connection with the investigation of her ImClone stock sales. Is Martha getting grilled only because of her stardom? Has she become a target or are there legitimate questions to be answered? We take stock of it all.

I just watched Ann on CrossFire and it was a textbook example of how the left slanders the right.

Goldstein is telling a lie. Tucker is too stupid to call him on it.
Goldstein says the NYT article does not say Kissinger opposes the war on Iraq and the whole argument therefore is a red herring but he quoted the WRONG article.
The article in question that asserted that Kissinger opposes the war (he does not) is from Aug 17. See it here.
CRAWFORD, Tex., Aug. 16 President Bush said today that he was listening carefully to a group of Republicans who were warning him against going to war with Iraq, but that he would still make up his own mind based on information that is very tightly held within his administration.
It was the first time Mr. Bush had so directly addressed the growing chorus of concern from Republicans, which now includes former Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger and Brent Scowcroft, the first President Bush's national security adviser and a close Bush family friend.

The other guy opposite of annie seems like an arrogant pompous a$$! I thought annie did fine when they let her speak.
After Coulter articulately and convincingly rejects the NY Times new policy of announcing same sex marriages in their rag......
Goldstein: Coulter has no respect for love

Wow! Did you see Carville's foul-mouthed, table-thumping, mouth-frothing outburst?
To: anncoulteriscool
Turned it off early because I couldn't bear the hate emanating from carville and goldstein. But what I liked about the part I did catch was that while that apoplectic pervert from the Village Voice couldn't concentrate on anything but Annie, her response was to totally ignore him (and that only seemed to make him more hateful and angry, lol).

Carville was assigned to 4th Battalion at Parris Island.
To: hole_n_one
Carville transcends the word "reptilian."
To: rintense
Oh Tucker?? RINO-lite.

He's a Bloomberg republican at best. You've just coined a phrase! "Rockefeller Republican" is so 70s. But it could also mean a fiscal conservative as Bloomberg is the financial channel in NY.
How about "Riordan Republican"?
To: F16Fighter
I used to think he was cute. Now he's just a cute face with no substance. Believe it or not, women actually like men with brains. ;)
