Wonder if this is the opportunity Bill Clinton is looking for to prove his tv marketability?

"And if it is, how do we welcome our new [black] members?"

We welcome them by pushing school vouchers & anything else that will help get their children out of the cesspool of Public Education.

You are correct! Hispanics (that have been assimilated) are supporting GWB for the most part.(except those who want a new Mexico in the south west. The liberal media won't cover this because it hurts their cause.

I'm sure MSNBC execs looked into that a long time ago, Bill is probably holding out for 2 million an episode.

I agree, and we need to shake their hand and ask how else we might help. That is all we need to do and in my humble opinion, we have not done it for fear of being accused of pandering.

Anybody know how long Mr. D and Posner had their show.? My guess is that this will last about half of that time.

The Posner/Donahue gig ran on CNBC, roughly from around 1993 to the end of 1997.

LOL! Way longer than I thought. But, Clinton was president and that other idiot/actor/moron (I forget his name) had a show that was getting some audience as well. Grodin or somebody.

The day it is announced that Donahue has been cancelled, I think we should hold an online party celebrating the demise of that smug Socialist!

Count me in for that party! ;-D

I'm sobbing...

"the most promotion the channel has ever devoted to any program."

Gues this only works when the entire liberal media bands together, ala Clinton impeachment.

I spent a total of 15 minutes watching this simpleton interview Ann Coulter last month. What a buffoon! He literally couldn't hold a thought without referring to his notes. Annie sliced and diced him like an entree for Beni Hana's. It was brutal and he was absolutely pitiful. I'm only surprised that he has lasted this long. Guess thay had to hang on long enough to "save face' vis the enormous marketing budget/campaign. The libs need to learn that their message just doesn't sell!!! HaHaHaHaHaHaHaha!

Grodin's a funnier case. IIRC, he only got the CNBC gig because Tom Snyder quit to host the hour after Letterman. And after a year or so, CNBC got so sick of him that they shoved him off to MSNBC only one night a week. And then they dumped him as soon as they could after that.

We'll have an election to cover and a war in Iraq

LOL. That's a good one. Phil must change his position on Iraq and start urging the president to arrack. A new twist on wag the dog.

"Then he went and ruined it all by showing his liberal side."

Yep. There are so many movies that I pass on b/c it involves some actor who confuses his proficiency in Theatre with Political Science. Trying to translate your fame into political activism is double-edged -- hard to forget their stupid political comments while trying to get into the character they're portraying. Just shows how shallow and stupid celebs are. If I was an actor, I certainly wouldn't piss off half my audience by supporting/oppossing hot-button political positions.

FWIW, most Celebs don't have a clue about the political positions they take -- they're merely trying to increase their marketabilty amoung the "in" crowd in Hollywood.

I've got some other adjectives to describe that guy!

They definately would get the post pulled!

"If only 2-3% of blacks actually switch to Bush in 2004,"

Know what? I don't care if ANY Blacks switch to Bush. Its enough for me that they throw off the chains of ignorance, fear, and dependency that the Dems have enslaved them with.
This country will never realize its potential without the passion and energy of the black community. What the Liberals have done to them over the last 50 years is an abomination. Free yourselves and go where-ever your heart takes you!

Yep. You nailed it. And they may not be too open to another party after coming out from the Dems 50-year-con.
Best to continue to push causes like responsibilty and character and let them catch their breath for a bit. They'll come to our sides when they're ready.

I agree, but we do need to do more at the grass roots level. I hope to do what I can.

"Annie sliced and diced him like an entree for Beni Hana's."

Part of that was due to her style. She tends to be non-responsive to innane attacks from the Left -- just sits there and gives you that "what drugs are you on" look. Really confuses her opponents. They make this absurd remark, expect the typical conservative fall-apart, but instead get this puncuating silence...highlighting for your 20 million viewers what an idiotic remark you just made.
