By the way, we have been told that Bob J would not allow Taxman or sauropod to read the DC Chapter acceptance message that Kristinn and I wrote for FRiva attendees and FReepers everywhere.

Then perhaps you missed this post from Pod on this very thread two days ago:

The reason the message was not read was because I did not receive it in time to take it with me.

To clear the air in respect of this "issue," here is the story:

Bob J, several weeks before the FRiva Lost Wages event, asked me to introduce sauropod, who, in the absence of kristinn or Angelwood, was going to accept the Chapter of the Year Award for the DC Chapter.

I subsequently asked kristinn and Angelwood if they would like to prepare a statement for me to read, or if they wanted me to "wing it" in my introductory remarks. Angelwood sent me the statement you see in post #821.

I was prepared to introduce sauropod by reading Angelwood's statement (which, of course, I had in my pocket) and then adding a few words of my own highlighting some of the 2001 and 2002 activities of the DC Chapter, which, after all, garnered us the award.

The fact that I did not get introduced by Bob J is partially my fault (for not reminding Bob of our agreement before the dinner started) and partially his (for not remembering that he had asked me to introduce sauropod).

That is it. End of story.
