I think it already does cross party lines. I know there are democrat representatives in Texas that are pro-life and certainly there are pro-abortion Republicans. It all comes down to how they vote. The issue means a lot to me (obviously) and Steve and I vote this issue like someone's very life depends on it.

I still want the whistle ;~D and I don't disagree... My point was that you can still vote the issue, but there are a lot of liberals who will NEVER vote for a conservative candidate because they are just as adamant on the other side. It is a deal breaker that costs us votes. Votes that could help us gain more offices. We have to consider whether we are content with that outcome.
And they don't want us to talk about it any more on this thread... we can talk about it more over in the hole. This thread has been hijacked enough and we aren't helping! I meant to support dropping it as a side-topic, but instead served to keep the conversation going.
