To answer the post above - which may have been hashed over all ready (I have no plans of reading 200 posts to find out!):

Yes! And no, of course! :)

If they are US citizens/resident aliens - no. If they are visitors here legally deport them ASAP and apologize by mail. If they are illegal, or captured in war, lock'em up and inflict cruel and unusual punishment (by our legal standards today) and interrogate them until we are sure they have nothing left to say, then deport them if they are harmless. Otherwise give them three squares until they are!
