Donozark, I can't believe what I'm hearing from such a usually cool head. What 'fight'? The terrorists who carried out the attacks are dead. The country they came from is rubble. There's been no more terrorist attacks. There's no connection between Saddam and 911. Iraq is militarily puny. These are facts, yet you and so many Americans seem to be in a state of hysteria and paranoia over nothing. Damn this president, who has milked that factor for every poll point he can get. If only he had the character to do what should be done, this September 11- to bring closure to the country over this, say the grieving is over, and stop the sabre rattling in Iraq's direction. Get the country back doing what it does best, making money. In the long run America's extraordinary talent in that direction can defeat any enemy; by example.

Wish I could be as positive as you are. Even if UBL is dead, Mugniyah and El Zwerheri (Egypt cleric) are still alive by all accounts. Better check spelling of both those guys-anyway, Mugniyah is considered FAR more dangerous than the rest.

Just because it isn't in the papers doesn't mean Iraq is not involved. That is how these people operate. Look how long it took to tie Libya to the Lockerbie shoot down. These terrs do not attack with marked aircraft as the Japanese did. They don't wear uniforms. And neither of us is privy to precisely what the gov. knows about Iraq and the rest of our enemies..

Many here feel Iraq was involved in OKC bombing. And not just the "tinfoil" crowd. You seem to want to only get America back on the money track. Is your portfolio down a little? Mine is, but my country and it's survival comes first.

In addition, while there have been no more terrorist activities (well, maybe the anthrax was...) to this point, I am not so certain that the 'sleepers' are not waiting for our attack on Saddam, at which time they will pull a few other stunts.

I am VERY willing to force the President to conclude the war when the time has come; OTOH, I am not certain that the terroristas are by any means "done."
