We need payment for 310 years of slavery, 1619-1865 = 246 years.
Ebonimatics, anyone?

1776-1865 = 89yrs

Shouldn't the dates be adjusted: slave wages and reparations prior to 1776; sue the English Crown?

Ebonimatics, anyone? No offence intended to anyone who realistically applies math to this situation BUT! - - - -
The United States of America DID NOT EXIST until 1776. If you want to complain about who did what to whom before that - - - talk to the British, The French and the Spanish. But do not attempt to blame my native country or me.
In reality, the United States only was only involved in responsibly ( to what ever degree) from 1776 until 1865. Only 79 YEARS. And then only a FEW selected individuals out of millions of people were involved.
Hopefully realization that it was only 79 YEARS will help to qualm the garbage being spewed by many.

So when do the lawsuits begin, to force the estimates of those attending to be 1 million ?
It would seem the years are even less than 246. Prior to the U.S.A., wasn't America an English Colony ?
Also, why should any state that wasn't in existence as of 1865 be included?
(Which, of course, is mostly "fly-over" country.)?
so...Nebraska, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii get to "opt-out".
Guam, American Virgin Islands, American Samoa,& Puerto Rico of course are out.
That leaves mostly RAT country. Now, since California & New York are the most populous states, they should have to pay more, which of course will bankrupt those states. Since the Republicans are on the side of the Angels in this one, the people will be, of course pi$$ed at the RATS, so the RATS are gone.
Ok, all of a sudden I'm FOR reparations

I also noticed his discrepancy. I wondered where he came up with his figure. Probably wants MORE money by counting years. This whole reparations thing is beyond ridiculous. I also see any idiotic politician supporting reparations kissing his career goodbye.
