The idea of reparations for black America, is political correctness carried to the extreme and akin to pure and unadulterated extortion!

Ignorance and prejudice and fear walk hand in hand
To: Reagan Man
Would reparations be taxable as income...both fedearally and to the states.....( that'll really piss 'em off..)

She did not blame it on the current crop of liberal black leaders!!!

I have asked the same question before.
To: Reagan Man
Look at the bitterness in those faces.
That they are not happy is not surprising.

"What with this being covered on CSPAN, I'm amazed any one's even watching..."
I doubt many households ever tune into CSPAN. I wouldn't have if it weren't for FR calling it to my attention. These morons are a pathetic spectacle.
Rather than money, I'm all for buying them one-way tickets back to their beloved Africa on the condition that their black @sses never step foot in the US again.

Witch Hunt
From Rush's Moving Pictures Album
The night is black
Without a moon.
The air is thick and still.
The vigilantes gather on
The lonely torchlit hill.
Features distorted in the flickering light,
The faces are twisted and grotesque.
Silent and stern in the sweltering night,
The mob moves like demons possesed.
Quiet in conscience, calm in their right,
Confident their ways are best.
The righteous rise
With burning eyes
Of hatred and ill-will.
Madmen fed on fear and lies
To beat and burn and kill.
They say there are strangers who threaten us,
In our immigrants and infidels.
They say there is strangeness too dangerous
In our theaters and bookstore shelves.
That those who know what's best for us
Must rise and save us from ourselves.
Quick to judge,
Quick to anger,
Slow to understand
Ignorance and prejudice
And fear walk hand in hand...

"I noticed she was on C-SPAN already blaming the heat for the possible low turnout today. Any one want to take a bet on how long before they start blaming President Bush and Republicans for all the ills of the world."They already have. You see, the heat in DC is caused by global warming, which in turn is caused by Bush's reluctance to sign on to Kyoto (a treaty the Senate wouldn't even consider, btw). In addition, it's well known that black people can't handle heat, right? That means that Bush must also be racist, since he had to know that the high temperature he caused would target only blacks. But it's even worse than that, you see, because when Bush created all that heat in DC, preventing blacks from attending this event, he was essentially putting them all back into slavery. Afterall, what is slavery if not keeping a person in one place against his will? There's just no denying it: Bush is a racist, slave-owning planet wrecker.

>>>Would reparations be taxable as income...both fedearally and to the states.....( that'll really piss 'em off..)I'm sure they'll want it, tax free.
Can you say, boondoggle?
To: demkicker
Hey Demkicker:
This comment, along with "JIG" comment above, is sufficient.
This is why some black equate racism and conservatism.
Enough.

Close your eyes. Visualize this being a group of white people talking about blacks this way. This would never air one minute. Everything is downing or putting down someone because they are white. This is just plain insane.
Is Louie there? Oh boy...here he is!

Louis Farrakan...in the house!

I'll tell you one thing about their ancestors. If they didn't come to the New World, chances are their great great etc. grandchildren wouldn't be enjoying life in Africa today. Without getting into an overly detailed description of the slave trade, let's look at what happened to "excess" slaves. The tribes had wars, and captured other tribesmen as slaves. The best ones were kept by the tribes and the rest were sold off. What happened to the slaves the African slave traders couldn't sale? The were killed off by starvation, speared, ran off cliffs, or exiled to the jungles, wastelands, and deserts. Sent there to die. This happened alot, especially to the old and sick. But plenty of times, there were perfectly healthy slaves killed off because there was no need for them. The tribe had as many as they could handle and didn't need anymore. This part is rarely mentioned in history. I was taught this in a mostly black school before it became un PC to say anything bad about Africa.
Of course my European roots aren't so great either, so I count myself lucky that my ancestors lived to get away from there. Freedom here in America is my reparations, something I would pay all I have and more to keep.
