Tonight I saw Lawrence Eagleburger expressly say we should not go into Iraq unless Bush has evidence Saddam was directly involved in Sept 11th.

I wonder if Lawrence has read this article?

For what other purpose than terrorism, does Saddam Hussein strive to grow such hideous pathogens?

But one crate contained revelations depicting a wide-ranging weapons program that tested dozens of microbes and produced thousands of liters of anthrax spores, botulinum toxin, and aflatoxin. Thanks for the ping, this is chilling to say the least. I listened to about 15 seconds of Eagleburger. He and Scrowcroft and others are whistling into the wind. Perhaps looking to cover their butts?

We can't fry hussein's ass fast enough.

And, in fact, that is exactly what Bush is going to do. Eagleburger is just playing the straight man here -- just like Armey and Scowcroft.
