It's not going to happen. I wish it would be Patrick Buchanan, but that's even less likely.

Bush doesn't want to stop illegal immigration. I'm thinking he'll choose Spencer Abraham, or at least someone who share's Abraham's views on immigration.

Michelle is a longshot, no doubt... but there's no downside to pushing her.

Buchanan and Tancredo are deal-breakers out of the box. Way too easy to dismiss. Way too much baggage for them with the Bush crowd.

Michelle Malkin has none of that... she's articulate, brilliant, beautiful, conservative, the daughter of Philippino immigrants, and she's on the right side of the Illegal Alien issue.

Even better... she's got political superstar potential. That's not lost on even the most mercenary of RINOs.

This is Jorge Bush's last chance to win in 2004. Already, he's alienated way too many of the sole major demographic group to vote for him - non-Hispanic whites in Red Nation - to have any chance in 2004, given how narrow his win was in 2000, unless he does something serious to show us that we count more to him than the illegal-alien lobby. Otherwise, we'll abandon him at the polls in 2004.
